NEW DELHI: State-owned Canara Bank on Monday reported a profit of Rs 612.96 crore for the last quarter of 2014-15 financial year against that of Rs 610.8 crore in the same period of previous year.

Total income increased to Rs 12,429.21 crore in the quarter ended March, 2015, from Rs 11,609.72 crore in the same period of last fiscal, the bank said in a BSE filing.
Gross NPAs as a percentage of total advances rose to 3.89 per cent during the quarter under review from 2.49 per cent in the same quarter a year ago.
The net NPAs went up to 2.65 per cent in March 2015 from 1.98 per cent at the end of March 2014.
For the full fiscal 2014-15, the bank's net profit rose by 10.8 per cent to Rs 2,702.63 crore as compared to Rs 2,438.19 crore in the previous fiscal.
Total income increased to Rs 48,300.29 crore for the year ended March 31, 2015, from Rs 43,480.37 crore for the year ended March 31, 2014.
