Go Green With Credai Plantation drive at Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A plantation drive was organized by the Credai Odisha today here at Gajapatinagar where numerous dignitaries participated to support the cause. Ananta Narayan Jena, Mayor, Bhubaneswar, Priyadarshi Mishra, MLA and Akash Dasnayak, MLA & the Brand Ambassador of CREDAI Expo 2016 had attended the drive - ‘GO GREEN WITH CREDAI’. This initiative started with an aim to spread public awareness of the alarming environmental crisis situation and need of the hour to protect the earth, 


The plantation programme started from Sainik School to Kalinga Hospital Square. Mr. Dilip Patra, President CREDAI,Mr.D.S.Tripathy,Governing Council Member of Credai National along with Mr. Binay Krishan Das,IPP, Mr. Sangram Kesari Sahoo, General Sec, Mr. Swadesh Kumar Routray, Vice President and other members of  Credai Odisha were present at the place and conducted the plantation drive. Among others Ollywood star Poonam, bulu and Deepak were also present there.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Ananta Narayan Jena, Mayor, Bhubaneswar, stated, “I welcome this initiative of CREDAI. The spot choice for plantation is perfect as this road is going to be the busiest road of the city. BMC is also planning to beautify this road. It’s not enough to do plantation only. I would like to request CREDAI to maintain the plants properly and proactively”. "Not only CREDAI but all other organizations also should come forward to join hands with BMC in PPP mode for such activities”, he added.

Mr.Akash Dasnayak, MLA, Korei and Brand Ambassador of CREDAI stated, “There are two big problems that are impacting human life the worst at present – Terrorism and Global warming. There are chances to save ourselves from terrorism but from global warming, it’s very difficult. I feel privileged to be a part of such social responsibility programmes of CREDAI and I hope the to-be-smart city Bhubaneswar, through such initiatives of CREDAI, will become a great city in near future."
